Qing Duncan – President/Sales
Qing graduated from China Textile University with a BS degree in chemical engineering where she specialized in textile dyeing and finishing. She later got a California State Los Angeles MS degree in chemistry. She worked in two major dye houses in the Los Angeles area before she starting her entrepreneur adventure. Combining her knowledge in material science and practical experience from dye house work, she managed to create a group of both novelty and ECO friendly yarns to cater to the Los Angeles fashion market. Qing is determined to work with local market leaders to continue leading the LA fashion trend.
Irvin Ashworth – Production Mgr./Sales
Irvin Ashworth is the production manager at Sun Dragon Import, Inc. He is responsible for all shipments and production, as well as any required technical analysis. Irvin has 40 years of experience in textiles, and previously owned his own textile company for 12 years.
Cindy Gelera – Sales
Cindy has been working with Sun Dragon Import, Inc. as a sales representative for more than 10 years. She studied with a BSBA major in accounting while living in the Philippines. Cindy first learned about the complete cycle of the textile industry while working for a textile mill. In the 8 years she worked for the Accounting Department, she was promoted as one of the President’s Assistants in managing yarns and inventories. Cindy then moved on to work for 20 years in one of the biggest Textile Mills on the west coast. She held positions as a General Office Manager, Credit & Collections, Office Trainer for divisions, and a Textile Sales Representative. As a sales representative, Cindy has found that she loves working with and providing unique ideas to customers.
